MBO folding machines and features are geared towards the user - both in terms of practical requirements and the diversity of the paper medium. Convenience plays an important role here. The simpler the processes and operations, the more efficient the production.
With its high performance and excellent quality, the T1120 offers ideal conditions for maximum productivity. The features of our folding machines have been specially developed for your application. During product development, we do not rest on our laurels, but try to recognize new requirements at an early stage. Ideally so early that we can offer you the right solution before you are faced with the problem in question. Some of these special solutions can also be found in the T1120.
Belt drive: The tried-and-tested MBO belt drive guarantees extremely smooth running and is virtually maintenance-free. Self-tensioning elements make checking and readjustment superfluous. Functionality is monitored via the machine control system. Low follow-up and operating costs make the MBO belt drive a particularly economical long-term solution.
Max. 160 m/min
The high-speed guide guarantees absolutely safe sheet transport for all mobile buckle plate folders with the driven conical rollers, even at high speeds. Thanks to the slip-free drive of the folded products, marks are eliminated even on sensitive products.
Transfer table feature: The transfer table, which can be used on folding unit I, opens up unimagined possibilities with just one additional investment. The transfer table, which is permanently attached to folding unit I, is equipped with a divider. The divider can alternately divide the sheet flow from folding unit I to two rulers in folding unit II. This halves the mechanical speed of the second folding unit. This halves the mechanical speed of the second folding unit, which can process the higher output of the first folding unit, especially for landscape formats. Halving the speed guarantees high fold quality and reliable corner deflection in folding unit II.
This means that the output can be increased by up to 40% for many products that could often be produced at a high speed in the first folding unit, but are slowed down by the second folding unit (folding fluctuations, difficult corner deflection, flying corners on thin products). And all this with just one handle.
A higher net output is guaranteed by the reject chute integrated into the transfer table. Here, misfolded sheets or double sheets are detected by the ultrasonic double-sheet detector and ejected before the divider during production.
