Based on the high-performance K8, the K8RS is trimmed for absolute maximum productivity. To this end, the K8RS features valuable, performance-optimizing improvements that not only ensure the folding machine's exceptional production speed, but also guarantee maximum production quality and stability.
The K8RS shares all the advantages of the K8: The slitter shaft cassette, the fold-up cross-fold area and the extendable three fold area ensure ideal ease of operation and the shortest possible set-up times. Comprehensive automation options and the knife folding area, which can be configured as required, round off the possibilities of the K8RS perfectly. These features make the K8RS the perfect solution for a wide range of requirements for long and medium runs. Thanks to high-performance peripheral units, such as the CoBo-Stack stacking robot, MBO also fully covers the delivery process after the folding process.

The screen diagonal of the M1 Advanced machine control is 15.6". The router for the RAS remote maintenance software is included.
RS makes the difference
Valuable, standard upgrades to increase performance and production stability characterize the K8RS. The pallet feeder of the K8RS can process pile heights of up to 130 cm - 10 cm more than the feeder of the K8 and K80. The sheets are separated from the paper pile using the newly developed Vacujet RS separating head. The double Vacubelt sheet infeed system with two parallel suction belts then picks up the sheets and accelerates them to production speed within a very short time. Heavy-duty toothed belts and particularly powerful motors enable the K8RS to reach speeds of up to 275 meter per minute.

Ease of Setup
Vaculift RS separating head in the pallet feeder
The Vaculift RS separating head is characterized by its ease of operation. It is based on the mechanical lifting principle. The four bellows suction cups of the Vaculift RS have an automatic height adjustment to the paper stack. This facilitates the set-up process. The Vaculift RS achieves a frequency of up to 25,000 cycles per hour.
Excellent accessibility for the shortest set-up times
Thanks to the slitter shaft cassette, the fold-up cross-fold area and the pull-out three-fold area, the K8RS is second to none in terms of accessibility. On the one hand, this enables uncomplicated work: The operator has sufficient space to ergonomically position perforating, creasing and cutting tools and to clean the folding rollers, for example. On the other hand, the set-up process is much quicker than with conventional folding machines. The excellent accessibility ensures enormous time savings, especially for frequent set-up processes.
