The K8i is the top performer among the MBO combi folding machines. Based on the high-performance K8RS, the K8i is trimmed to the absolute productivity maximum. To this end, it features valuable, performance-optimizing improvements that not only ensure the folding machine's exceptional production speed, but also guarantee the highest production quality and stability.
The K8i shares all the advantages of the K8RS. The slitter shaft cassettes in parallel fold as well as in cross fold, the fold-up cross fold area and the extendable three-fold area ensure ideal ease of operation and the shortest possible set-up times. These features make the K8i the perfect solution for a wide range of requirements for medium and long runs. Thanks to powerful peripheral units, such as the CoBo-Stack stacking robot, MBO also fully covers the delivery process after the folding process.

M1 Advanced machine control
The screen diagonal of the M1 Advanced machine control is 15.6". The router for the RAS remote maintenance software is included.
Jog mode is possible with the noise insulation and safety device open. The machine can also be operated using a two-hand control. The M1 Advanced is compatible with Datamanager 4.0, a software package for production planning. In addition, a folding pattern catalog is stored in the M1 Advanced to support the user during set-up.
Automatic pallet alignment system
The pallet position is determined by 4 sensors and the pallet is automatically positioned in the center of the feeder.
Automatic correction also takes place during production.

Vaculift RS separating head in the pallet feeder
The Vaculift RS separating head is characterized by its ease of operation. It is based on the mechanical lifting principle. The four bellows suction cups of the Vaculift RS have an automatic height adjustment to the paper stack. The automatic lifting of the Vacujet RS by 150 mm when the pallet is lowered facilitates the set-up process. The Vaculift RS achieves a frequency of up to 25,000 cycles per hour.
Unrivaled accessibility for the shortest set-up times
Thanks to the slitter shaft cassettes in the parallel break and cross break, the fold-up cross break area and the pull-out three-break area, the K8i is second to none in terms of accessibility. On the one hand, this enables uncomplicated working: The operator has sufficient space to ergonomically position perforating, creasing and cutting tools and to clean the folding rollers, for example.
