The T8 redefines pharmaceutical folding
With 16 buckle plates and an extended working width of up to 780 mm, this machine opens up a new dimension for the B1 format. Thanks to optional automation and mechanical optimization of the folding process, the T8 has established itself as the technological flagship for demanding pharmaceutical applications. The well-thought-out overall concept is consistently designed to maximise user-friendliness and noticeably minimise setup times.
A stable manufacturing process and maximum production reliability are the focus: Intelligent features such as camera systems and automatic ejection of defective products guarantee flawless results. In addition, all integrated auxiliary functions—such as waterscoring—can be seamlessly adjusted and continuously monitored via the central machine control system.
Maximum flexibility included: The T8 can be configured with all H+H peripheral devices to form a customised production line, thereby meeting the needs of a wide variety of applications.

User Friendliness
The optional automation of the folding pockets and folding rollers ensures maximum operator convenience—the T8 thus offers everything required for modern production. Thanks to the intuitive M1 Advanced machine control system, the machine can be set up quickly, safely, and effortlessly. Job reproducibility is also a breeze thanks to the generous job memory: previously run jobs are simply loaded via the touchscreen. The optional MBO Datamanager ensures seamless digital integration: It enables direct connection to your MIS system and reliably delivers all relevant data to your individual software tool. Another plus: The low-noise belt drive noticeably reduces ambient noise levels.

Ease of Setup
The automatic adjustment of the buckle plates and folding rollers reduces setup times and effort to a minimum of just a few minutes. A true quantum leap in ergonomics and efficiency is the placement of creasing tools via the patented MBO slittershaft cassette: this completely eliminates the need for time-consuming repositioning of the cross-folding units. Thanks to the intuitive M1 Advanced machine control system, the entire production line can be operated and monitored centrally via touchscreen.
The various sheet ejection options ensure maximum net output. The ejection gate is integrated into the alignment table before the parallel fold ejects double sheets detected by the ultrasonic double-sheet control. Misfolded sheets detected by the M1 Advanced machine control system, as well as defective sheets detected by the optional integrated camera system, are either ejected via the transfer table with ejection gate or in the KB80 crossfold module. These ejections are performed efficiently during operation—without stopping the machine. Production interruptions caused by stopper errors are thus a thing of the past.
