BSR 550 Servo

For processing single sheets or thin folded products

Individual products are transported from the flat pile feeding system to the punching area, where they are perforated using a flexible rotary die. A positioning table with a ball rail is used to align the sheets on the side.

A system of positioning rollers ensures high accuracy in the production direction by allowing the sheets to pass through the punching cylinder without stopping.

The most efficient way to perform multiple high-performance processes in a single operation is to configure the die-cutting machine in line with downstream machines such as folders, mailing systems, and packaging machines.

In addition, automatic waste-matrix diversion and simultaneous separation of internal cuts increase production.

The BSR 550 Servo has a format range from 550 × 750 mm to 210 × 210 mm. It can handle sheets with a thickness from 0.5 mm to 80 g/m². The machine’s maximum capacity is 12,000 sheets per hour.

  • Innovative cutting system for creative post-production finishing of printed materials
  • Applicable for printing, pharmaceutical, packaging, labelling, and digital printing industries.
  • Mailings, advertising supplements, booklet labels, brochures, greeting cards, folding cartons, and labels can be produced in single or multiple-pass modes.
  • Cost-effective production is supported by simple tooling technology, fast setup times, and high adjustment precision.
  • Automatic unloading of section grids and simultaneous separation of internal cuts improve efficiency and ensure neat delivery of cut products or direct further finishing in interfaced downstream machines.

Bograma PSR 550 Die Cutting System

Experience the Bograma PSR 550 die-cutting system in action at the crossover event hosted at Komori in Utrecht. In this detailed walkthrough, Uwe Buhmann, Sales Manager at Bograma, explains how this Swiss-made machine delivers high-quality, efficient, and fully automated die cutting

Discover how the process begins with a flat pile feeder and printed sheets, where each sheet is precisely aligned using a camera-based print mark recognition system. Learn how the machine ensures accurate positioning before entering the core die-cutting module with dual magnetic cylinders for male and female dies
