Active for over 30 years in the graphic arts market, River Press Group has specialized in high-quality art prints from the very beginning.
The growing demand from the market sparked the ingenuity of its founder, Patrizio Petrocchi, who, within a few years, expanded from lithographic production to include digital and screen printing as well. However, Petrocchi quickly realized that success wasn't just about production but also about the ability to provide a complete and reliable service to his clients.
Thus, a logistics service was developed, which within a few months allowed River Press Group to acquire and consolidate clients of both national and international caliber.
Thanks to 1,000 square meters of covered warehouse space for material storage, along with an additional 1,000 square meters of yard space for loading and unloading goods, River Press Group is able to reach the sales outlets of its final customers, optimizing shipping and management costs.
"The logistics service has been enhanced with a setup service," says Patrizio Petrocchi, CEO of River Press, who explains that he has created specialized teams that, through technical inspections, can set up signs on the ground or at height, booths for trade shows, and nationwide advertising campaigns.
Today, the Roman production company combines these services with the production of commercial forms, brochures, leaflets, booklets, books, ring binders, corrugated boxes, countertop displays, roll-ups, posters, calendars and planners, double-sided window stickers, and hardcover volumes.
"We don't consider ourselves suppliers but partners to our clients. Knowing their needs perfectly allows us to better organize the entire production cycle."
For this reason, in recent years, there has been an increasing focus on investments that enhance printed materials. Hot stamping, edge coloring, die-cutting, cover padding, lamination, thread binding/perfect binding/saddle stitching, spiral binding, and UV spot varnishing are just some of the processes in which River Press Group has invested in recent years.
"The Komori Lithrone G 40, 4 colors + varnish unit, is the most recent investment," concludes Petrocchi. "After an initial adjustment period and the training of our operators, we resumed our production flows, and today we achieve better quality in less time. Of course, there's still much to improve, but experience teaches finesse. And in this, we also rely on Komori's expertise."
