The centrepiece of Komori’s European Headquarters in Utrecht is the recently developed Komori Graphic Technology Center – Europe (KGC-Europe). In tune with the KGC Center in our new factory in Japan, our Netherlands facility aims to support all current and future technological needs for: press demonstrations, individual press trials, technical training, education seminars and regional R & D.

We try to ensure that there is always a representative range of presses available and  additionally, at KGC-Europe, we also have a fully operational  Pre-Press centre, complete with latest Kodak CTP and workflow operating within the Komori DoNet – our digital open architecture network. Here you can experience full CIP4/JDF/JMF workflow in an authentic pressroom environment, which includes MIS integration.

KGC-Europe also enables us to help fulfil an important element of our global philosophy of: Kando – delivering beyond expectations -  for the industry in general, through R & D for not  just ourselves and our products, but for our industry partners in a such diversified fields as: pre-press, plate manufacture, inks, consumables, coatings, drying and printed substrates.
